The museum was founded in 1980 and it is the only museum that preserves collections of artifacts related to Hartland. The Northern Michigan town Hartland has a rich history and the people who live there are proud to be part of such heritage.
It is located at 117 W. Main Street, Hartland, MI 48353. It is open all week from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm except on Mondays when the museum closes down at 12:00 pm. There is no admission fee for visitors but they encourage donations and sponsorships which will help them develop and preserve more exhibits that will be showcased sometime soon. They hope that this step will contribute to further growth of their community as well as promote history-related education among children and young adults.
For those who love history and want to develop an interest in learning about the past – this would be a great place to visit. Museum staffs are friendly, professional and most of all – knowledgeable! They can answer questions like “How did the town come up with its name?” and many more such queries that will make your trip memorable. You can ask them anything related to Hartland’s history and they will provide sound answers.
